I challenge you to be a winner!

"No, not in golf, but in your own life, in what ever you choose to do, whatever you care about. I challenge you to make a difference in the world, to reach higher and farther than you ever imagined. I challenge you to "start something!"  Tiger Woods

Some Habits of Highly Responsible Students-

1. They set goals.  Goals keep children focused on the future. That's why they are the foundation of responsible behavior and success in school..

2. Help your child set goals.  Talk to your child about: How much improvement would he/she like to improve in their grades for the new school year.  Know that it is never to late/early to begin the process.

3. Responsible people meet their obligations, whether it's turning in a paper the day it's due or having a report on the boss's desk when it's needed.  But it takes planning.  Remember the old saying, "If you fail to plan, you plan to fail."

Is Your Home a Learning Place?- We know that children learn everywhere, everyday.  Since they spend more time at home than they do in school, we know that home time can also be an important learning time.  As a parent, you can make sure your home creates an environment that promotes learning.  From the time a child is born until he/she graduates from high school at age 18, more than 85% of their waking, learning hours are spent OUTSIDE the classroom— mainly at home. Home is truly the primary place a child learns.
